OUR STORY
Putting Every Desire After Love...PEDAL
After years of prayer and hoping for fellowship with other guys, the time came to start the ministry called "PEDAL" - Put Every Desire After Love.
In Matthew, chapter 22, verses 37-40:
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
As I thought and prayed about what would be worth setting aside time in my schedule to meet up with other guys for a couple hours each week, I kept coming back to God's love for each of us. I realize that your time is valuable and in order to make the most of the time, we will challenge one another to put love for God and others above everything else, not just in words, but in action. Every other desire, like a good bike ride, a new bike, a better job, or anything else will be after love. The time we will spend together each week will focus on sharing God's love with other guys while riding bikes together.
P.E.D.A.L Ministry is focused on fulfilling the Great Commission by using bicycles as tools to reach people with the Gospel and win them to faith in Jesus Christ, build and disciple them in their faith, and send them to win and disciple others.
